KBS 2TV’s A Love Other Than Yours, starring Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin, has fallen to its lowest rating since premiere.
According to Nielsen Korea, the October 11 broadcast recorded a nationwide rating of 1.9%.
The figure marked a drop of 0.4 percentage points from the previous episode’s 2.3% and became the drama’s new series low.
It is also the first time A Love Other Than Yours has fallen into the 1% range, extending its ongoing ratings struggle.
Episode 8 centered on a major turning point for longtime couple Namgoong Ho, played by Seo Kang Joon, and Lee Mi Do, played by Ahn Eun Jin.
After spending years together, the two begin questioning their familiar relationship and consider what it would mean to meet other people for a limited period.
The episode introduced this new direction without resolving where their relationships will ultimately lead.
Despite the drama’s latest shift in its romance storyline, its ratings continued to decline, making the 1.9% result the most notable outcome from the latest broadcast.
A Love Other Than Yours airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST on KBS 2TV.
