DAY6’s Young K surprised the cast of SBS’s Whenever Possible by revealing just how much he can eat in one sitting.
During the September 15 episode, Young K appeared alongside actor Yoo Seung Ho and joined hosts Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok as they visited the Cheongdam area.
While talking about the days when JYP Entertainment’s former headquarters was located nearby, Young K recalled an unforgettable experience at a local restaurant that offered unlimited rice refills.
Young K revealed, “I got scolded while eating at a restaurant nearby. They said the rice was unlimited, so I ate a lot without realizing.”
He then surprised everyone by explaining exactly how much he ordered.
“I ordered one doenjang jjigae and then asked for eight extra bowls of rice.”
Young K also revealed that his large appetite is not limited to rice. He said he can eat four packs of instant noodles at once and recently added four servings of noodles while eating budae jjigae.
When Yoo Seung Ho asked where all the food goes, Young K explained that he normally controls how much he eats.
“I usually don’t eat that much. I have to control it, so I’m always hungry,” he said.
Young K’s story about ordering eight additional bowls of rice despite the restaurant’s unlimited refill policy left the cast surprised and highlighted his famously big appetite.
