Jeon So Min’s younger brother lands first acting opportunity at 38 after years of chasing his dream

Actress Jeon So Min’s younger brother, Jeon Wook Min, has revealed that he finally received an acting opportunity at age 38 after years of pursuing his dream.

On August 30, Jeon Wook Min shared the news on social media and encouraged others who are also working toward long-term goals.

He wrote, “I sincerely support everyone running toward their dreams. And please never give up.”

In a video, Jeon Wook Min explained that he had often questioned whether he should continue acting as he approached his 40s without an established career or financial stability.

“People around me would say, ‘Shouldn’t you stop now?’ or ‘You’re almost 40,’” he shared. “I knew they were saying it because they were worried about me, but there were times when I also wondered if I should give up.”

However, he recently received a call offering him a small acting role. While he said the part has limited dialogue and only a brief appearance, the opportunity carries special meaning for him.

“It might look like a small opportunity to someone else, but it is different for me,” he said. “For the first time, it feels like my dream is touching reality.”

Jeon Wook Min added that he plans to give his best effort and hopes the role can become the first step toward bigger opportunities in the future.

He also reflected on the idea that direction can matter more than speed, saying that everyone moves at a different pace when pursuing a dream.

His story previously attracted attention after he revealed that he had been working delivery jobs while continuing to prepare for an acting career. At the time, he explained that having a famous sister did not mean he was financially supported by her.

“People thought I had a lot of money because my sister is a celebrity, but that money has nothing to do with me. It is all my sister’s money because she earned it,” he said.

Despite feeling embarrassed at times about doing delivery work at his age, Jeon Wook Min said he chose to continue because it allowed him to support himself while pursuing acting.

Jeon Wook Min is known to some viewers as Jeon So Min’s younger brother and previously appeared on a family special of SBS’s Running Man. His latest update is now drawing attention as he takes what he describes as his first meaningful step toward making his acting dream a reality.
