Child actress Choi So Yul is gaining attention for her strong resemblance to actress Roh Yoon Seo after new photos from the set of Netflix’s The East Palace were shared online.
On July 28, Choi So Yul’s mother posted photos showing the young actress posing warmly with Roh Yoon Seo during filming. The two smiled brightly at the camera, and many viewers noticed their similar eyes, noses, and smiles.
Choi So Yul’s mother thanked Roh Yoon Seo and shared how meaningful the experience had been.
She wrote: “It was such an honor and a happy experience for both So Yul and me that she was able to play the younger version of Roh Yoon Seo’s character again after Crash Course in Romance*, this time in* The East Palace*.”*
She added that they had also met Roh Yoon Seo by chance at the Baeksang Arts Awards and a film premiere. According to her, Roh Yoon Seo warmly welcomed Choi So Yul each time they met.
Roh Yoon Seo later responded directly in the comments.
She wrote: “My favorite actress So Yul, it was truly an honor and a joy that the beautiful So Yul played the younger version of Saeng Gang. I will support you until the day we can act together in the same scene. I am even more thankful.”
