Actress Goo Hye Sun surprised the cast by cutting her own bangs in the middle of a television recording.
On the July 18 broadcast of MBN’s “Kim Joo Ha’s Day and Night”, Goo Hye Sun appeared as a guest and discussed her habit of doing her own makeup and hair.
Host Kim Joo Ha said she had heard that Goo Hye Sun prepared her own makeup and asked why she did not rely on professional artists.
Goo Hye Sun explained that she has worked as an actress for about 24 years and became used to having her makeup done inside broadcasting station dressing rooms earlier in her career.
“I think I never became familiar with going to a professional makeup shop,” she said.
The actress then revealed that she also styles and trims her own hair instead of regularly visiting a salon.
During the recording, filming was briefly paused because Goo Hye Sun’s bangs were touching her eyes and making her uncomfortable.
After the production team gave her a mirror and scissors, she immediately began cutting them herself on set.
Moon Se Yoon and Jo Jjaeze watched in surprise and reacted, “Wow, this is amazing. It actually worked.”
After completing the quick haircut, Goo Hye Sun thanked the cast and production team for pausing the recording and helping her.
