aespa member Karina has officially passed her road driving test.
On July 2, aespa’s official YouTube channel uploaded a new video showing Karina taking driving lessons and preparing for her license test.
During the video, Karina received training at a driving school before her skills test. She showed confidence from the beginning and said, “I knew I would do well.”
Karina also shared one of her personal goals for learning how to drive. While practicing parking, she worried and asked, “How do you park at places like a supermarket?” She explained that she wanted to drive her grandmother to go grocery shopping.
The idol also showed her relaxed and funny side while talking with her driving instructor. When the instructor compared driving to riding a bicycle, Karina shyly replied, “I only learned how to ride a bicycle recently too.”
Before her test, Karina received a four leaf clover for good luck and said, “They gave it to me so I can pass. I will pass. I am nervous and excited”.
She also revealed that getting a license did not change her thoughts about buying a car. Karina said, “I did not plan to buy a car, and I still do not. I thought I would want to buy one by the time I got my license, but I do not really want to buy one.”
Karina passed her skills test with a perfect score of 100 and proudly said, “I knew I would do well, but I did not know I would do this well.”
Later, she moved on to road driving practice. Her instructor praised her by saying, “You drive well,” but Karina admitted, “I do not think I am good at slowing down gradually.”
The instructor added that Karina was better at keeping her speed than most beginners, saying she was “the type who speeds up well.”
In the end, Karina passed her road driving test with 83 points, successfully earning her driver’s license.
