Actor Yoo Tae Joo shared a touching story about Lee Je Hoon and his quiet support for younger actors.
On June 28, Yoo Tae Joo posted on social media and tagged his colleague Lee Yoo Jin while talking about a video project that began with only 2 million won.
He wrote, “The video production that started with 2 million won was able to become a project with Lezhin Snack and our story like a miracle”.
He then revealed that Lee Je Hoon kindly joined the project after one simple message. Yoo Tae Joo shared, “Even more miraculously, Je Hoon sunbaenim came to help us after just one KakaoTalk message”.
According to Yoo Tae Joo, Lee Je Hoon did not ask for anything in return and only wanted to support his juniors.
He continued, “I made the offer without expecting anything, but he appeared without wanting anything in return, saying he was proud of his juniors.”
Yoo Tae Joo also expressed his hope to become the same kind of senior to others one day, saying, “Someday, we will also live in a way where we can become someone’s Lee Je Hoon.”
He ended the post with the message, “May everyone’s earnest wishes eventually become reality,” while Lee Yoo Jin replied, “Our earnest wish became reality. Thanks to Tae Joo.”
