Ryu Jun Yeol may be preparing to part ways with UAA.

On June 29, a media outlet reported that the actor is planning to leave United Artists Agency, also known as UAA, and move to Galaxy Corporation.

UAA was founded in November 2012 by Park Hyun Jung, who was formerly known as Song Hye Kyo’s manager. The agency recently drew attention after Song Hye Kyo, who was considered its first major actor, left the company.

If Ryu Jun Yeol also leaves, it would mark another notable change for UAA. The agency currently represents Yoo Ah In, who has faced legal issues over alleged habitual drug use, as well as Kim Dae Myung, Ahn Eun Jin, Kim Da Mi, and Jang Ki Yong.

Galaxy Corporation, the company Ryu Jun Yeol is reportedly discussing a move with, is widely known as G-Dragon’s agency.

The company is also home to Song Kang Ho, SHINee’s Taemin, and Kim Jong Kook. It recently gained more attention after signing Major League Baseball player Lee Jung Hoo.

Ryu Jun Yeol signed with UAA in June of last year, meaning the reported move comes about one year after joining the agency.

In response to the report, UAA gave a brief statement, saying, “We have nothing separate to say regarding the agency transfer”.
