Lim Ji Yeon says goodbye to “My Royal Nemesis” with an emotional message for Shin Seo Ri

Lim Ji Yeon shared a touching goodbye message after the finale of SBS’s “My Royal Nemesis”.

On June 21, the actress posted several behind the scenes photos from the drama set on her social media.

The photos showed her with co stars Heo Nam Jun, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Se Hee, Baek Ji Won, Kim Min Seok, and the production staff, giving fans a look at the warm atmosphere during filming.

Along with the photos, Lim Ji Yeon wrote, “Thank you to everyone who watched and loved the drama ‘My Royal Nemesis’ until now.”

She also thanked the cast and crew for their hard work, saying, “I send a respectful round of applause to all the staff members and actors who worked hard for ‘My Royal Nemesis’ during the extremely cold winter”.

Lim Ji Yeon then shared a special message for her character Shin Seo Ri. She wrote, “My Seo Ri, thank you for coming into my life that felt like a vast open sea. With the courage you taught me, I will fly freely”. She added, “I loved you, Shin Seo Ri and Cha Se Gye. Goodbye”.

“My Royal Nemesis” marked Lim Ji Yeon’s first full comedy role, and she received praise for showing a wide range of acting, from comedy and action to romance.

Her detailed performance and strong character work helped make Shin Seo Ri one of the most talked about female leads of the drama.

The series ended on June 20 with its best ratings yet. The final episode recorded a peak rating of 14.1%, with 11.8% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 11.8% nationwide.
