Kim Min Seok shared a heartfelt message after the finale of SBS’s “My Royal Nemesis”.

The drama ended on June 20, and Kim Min Seok looked back on his time playing Baek Gwang Nam, Shin Seo Ri’s manager and a resident of room 202 at a gosiwon.

His character could have easily been seen as annoying, but Kim Min Seok made him fun and relatable with his realistic acting, natural facial expressions, and strong chemistry with Lim Ji Yeon.

After the finale, Kim Min Seok said, “I always feel the same way. I keep thinking, ‘When will it end?’ but when it actually ends, I feel sad and regretful.” He added that he already misses the intense atmosphere they shared both on and off camera.

The actor also thanked the people who helped him finish the drama, saying, “Thanks to the director, staff, and fellow actors who filled in what I lacked and guided me, I was able to safely put a period on this project”.

Most of all, Kim Min Seok expressed gratitude to viewers. He said, “I know very well that watching the live broadcast every week is not something to take for granted. The support from viewers who willingly gave 1 hour for ‘My Royal Nemesis’ became a great source of strength for me”.

He also shared his hope that Baek Gwang Nam will stay in viewers’ memories, saying, “The drama has ended, but I would be happy if Baek Gwang Nam remains as a lingering memory that sometimes suddenly comes to mind”.

Following “My Royal Nemesis,” Kim Min Seok has confirmed his next project, the fantasy romantic comedy “Human X Gumiho”.
