Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun’s Netflix series “You and Everything Else” has earned another major award.
On June 20, the Kakao Entertainment produced drama won the Best Creative award at the 2026 Global OTT Awards. The award is considered the grand prize of the ceremony.
With this win, Kakao Entertainment has now taken home the grand prize for 2 years in a row, following last year’s success with “When Life Gives You Tangerines".
The Global OTT Awards, part of the 2026 Korea International Streaming Festival, selected winners from streaming content around the world.
This year’s ceremony received a record 231 submissions across 19 categories, including 14 competition categories and 5 invitation categories.
“You and Everything Else” had already been recognized at other major award shows. The series won Best Drama and Best Screenplay in the TV category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards, as well as the drama category award at the 38th Korea Broadcasting Writers Awards.
The Netflix series follows the long and complicated relationship between two friends, Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, who experience friendship, admiration, jealousy, and emotional conflict over many years.
The drama was praised for its detailed writing, warm directing, and strong performances from Kim Go Eun, Park Ji Hyun, Kim Gun Woo, and the rest of the cast.
At the time of its release, “You and Everything Else” also reached No. 5 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 non English series chart.
While accepting the award, Kakao Entertainment’s Jang Se Jeong thanked the people behind the drama, saying, “I would like to thank writer Song Hye Jin, who wrote such a beautiful story, director Jo Young Min, who directed it with detail and warmth, actors Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun, who played Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, and all the other actors and staff members”.
She also added, “I sincerely thank my colleagues at Kakao Entertainment who made this drama with me, Choi PD, who is the best producer and friend, and Netflix. We will work hard to make even better dramas next time so we can come back to Busan again”.
Kakao Entertainment is also preparing more projects for the second half of the year, including Netflix’s “The Boy in the Last Row”, MBC’s “Married Woman Killer”, Netflix series “Field Mouse”, and Netflix film “Cross 2”.
