Shin Min Ah shared honest thoughts about marriage while appearing on Lee Young Ji’s YouTube show “No Prepare.”
During the episode, Lee Young Ji said she has been thinking a lot about marriage and asked how someone can know when they should marry a person. Shin Min Ah answered, “I actually think the later you get married, the better.”
She explained that this does not mean people should date many people, but that they should take enough time to understand themselves. Shin Min Ah said, “Before marriage, it is important to learn what kind of person you are and how you react in certain relationships.”
The actress also said people often already know when someone is not right for them, but they ignore it because they like that person.
She shared, “People ignore it because they like someone, but actually, they already know.”
Shin Min Ah added that a fun relationship is not always a healthy one, saying, “You should not confuse something fun with a healthy relationship.”
She also advised that if someone feels too tired after meeting a person, it may mean they are trying too hard in that relationship.
When Lee Young Ji joked that she wished her future husband had “I am your husband” written on his forehead, Shin Min Ah replied, “But you already know when someone is not the right person.”
Meanwhile, Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin started publicly dating in 2015 and continued their long relationship before getting married last year.
