South Korean actors Kim Hee Sun and Go Soo could be reuniting on screen after 23 years, as both stars are reportedly considering roles in the upcoming MBC drama The Wife.

A representative from the agency stated, “Kim Hee Sun has received an offer to appear in MBC's new drama 'The Wife' and is positively reviewing it.”

Go Soo has also been mentioned as a potential cast member. However, neither actor has officially confirmed their participation, meaning their long-awaited reunion remains a possibility rather than a finalized casting decision.

The upcoming drama The Wife is expected to explore the darker sides of love, desire, and relationships through the story of a woman struggling to protect a secret.

As she tries to keep the truth hidden, her circumstances become increasingly complicated. The series will explore themes of guilt, difficult choices, and redemption, presenting an emotionally intense story centered on its female lead.

The drama is written by Jung Ryeo Joo and is reportedly being produced by Samhwa Networks, the production company behind the popular Dr. Romantic series.
