Actor Im Si Wan showed his thoughtful side after Seol In Ah revealed how he personally arranged their train tickets and prepared food for their trip to Busan while working on their upcoming drama Love in Disguise.
On October 20, Im Si Wan and Seol In Ah appeared as guests on the YouTube talk show Salon Drip 2, where they shared behind-the-scenes stories about working together.
During the conversation, Seol In Ah recalled an amusing experience while preparing for an important scene in their drama.
According to the actress, the two had limited time to rehearse before filming in Busan, so she suggested traveling together on the KTX train and using the journey to practice their lines.
However, Im Si Wan initially turned down her suggestion.
Seol In Ah jokingly recalled, “We didn't have enough time to practice, so I asked him to rehearse with me while we traveled. But at first, he played hard to get.”
She then revealed that she even asked their director to help convince him.
“I told the director, 'Si Wan oppa won't practice with me,' and the director told him, 'Si Wan, just go with her,'” she shared, drawing laughter.
Eventually, Im Si Wan agreed to travel with Seol In Ah, but what happened next surprised her.
Rather than simply joining her on the train, Im Si Wan personally arranged their travel plans and prepared food for the journey.
Seol In Ah explained that he asked her to cancel her original train reservation so he could book both of their KTX tickets himself.
He also brought fruit and packed lunchboxes for them to enjoy during the trip.
Recalling his thoughtful preparations, Seol In Ah said with a smile, “What was cute about him was that he even brought fruit and lunchboxes for the train ride.”
Her story highlighted an unexpectedly caring side of Im Si Wan, especially after he had initially appeared reluctant to travel together.
Im Si Wan then explained why he decided to make the preparations.
According to the actor, the two-hour journey felt surprisingly short because he wanted to use the time to talk with Seol In Ah and prepare properly for their important scene.
Rather than treating the train ride as ordinary travel time, he saw it as an opportunity to understand their characters and work together more comfortably.
Im Si Wan also expressed gratitude toward Seol In Ah for taking the initiative to approach him in a friendly way.
