Jin Ki Joo reveals Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun quickly watched “Teach You a Lesson” and personally congratulated her after its global success

Jin Ki Joo shared the warm support she received from her agency CEOs Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun after the release of Netflix’s “Teach You a Lesson”.

In a recent interview, Jin Ki Joo talked about the drama and said she has been spending grateful days after receiving love from viewers. She said, “This is a work we really worked hard on last year. I had a lot of expectations until it was released. Thankfully, many people are showing it love, and I am receiving many messages from people around me”.

In “Teach You a Lesson”, Jin Ki Joo plays Im Han Rim, the only female inspector at the Teachers’ Rights Protection Bureau. The character is a former special forces member with strong fighting skills, a strong sense of duty, and a bold personality.

Jin Ki Joo is currently signed under Basecamp Company, led by Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun. She revealed that both actors watched the series quickly and contacted her after seeing it.

She said, “The CEOs watched it really quickly and contacted me. Both of them said they enjoyed it and supported me by saying I did well, so I was happy”.

She also shared that Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun were happy about the drama’s strong global ranking. Jin Ki Joo said, “After the ranking came out so well, they called me and congratulated me.”

The actress also expressed love for her co stars Kim Mu Yeol, Lee Sung Min, and Pyo Ji Hoon. She said filming with the Teachers’ Rights Protection Bureau team was enjoyable and that their teamwork was strong. She shared, “We had good teamwork, we were close, and I felt that we trusted each other a lot while filming”.

Jin Ki Joo also reacted to viewers calling Im Han Rim her “life character”. She said the phrase was a huge compliment, adding, “I thought it would be the greatest happiness if I could hear those words. I worked hard, and I feel thankful”.

“Teach You a Lesson” has been receiving strong attention in Korea and overseas. The Netflix series ranked No. 1 on the global non English series chart just three days after its release and is expected to continue its strong performance in its second week.
