Actor Heo Nam Jun shared a funny and honest story about his shirtless scenes.

On June 10, Heo Nam Jun appeared in a video on the YouTube channel Ha Ji Young, where he talked about his drama “My Royal Nemesis”, his acting career, and the growing attention around his shirtless scenes.

During the interview, Ha Ji Young asked if he knew “My Royal Nemesis” would become a hit. Heo Nam Jun said, “I thought it would do well”, explaining that the script was already fun from the beginning.

He added that the later scripts became even more interesting and that the atmosphere on set was also very good.

He shared, “As we moved into the later part, I kept saying, and Ji Yeon noona also said this, that I thought our project would do well.”

Ha Ji Young then brought up his shirtless scene and joked that Heo Nam Jun and shirtless scenes now seem to go together like an equation.

Heo Nam Jun explained that the scene was not originally part of the drama. He said, “Originally, our project did not have a shirtless scene. It also did not have English lines. There were many things that were not originally there”.

He added that the writer included some elements after seeing the positive response to his previous work. He joked, “Once you take it off once, you keep taking it off.”

When Ha Ji Young asked what shirtless scenes mean to him, Heo Nam Jun made everyone laugh by answering, “Maybe it is more important than acting”.

He also drew attention by revealing that his next project has already been confirmed, and it will include a shirtless scene as well.
