Sooyoung’s past comment about the dating show “EXchange” is gaining attention again after her breakup with Jung Kyung Ho was confirmed.
On June 9, Sooyoung’s agency Saram Entertainment stated, “It is true that Sooyoung broke up with Jung Kyung Ho. They decided to remain good colleagues.”
Following the news, fans revisited Sooyoung’s appearance on “Salon Drip 2” last December, where she talked about dating programs with Jang Do Yeon and Kim Jae Young.
When asked what had recently been appearing in her algorithm, Sooyoung answered, “For me, it is ‘EXchange.’”
She said it was her first time watching the show, adding, “I did not watch the previous seasons at all, but I heard this season was fun, so I watched it, and it was fun”.
During the conversation, Kim Jae Young shared that he stopped watching dating shows because they made him feel lonely. He said, “I watched a little and stopped. It made me feel lonelier.”
Sooyoung then drew attention for her firm answer when asked if she would appear on “EXchange” herself. She said, “Would I go on ‘EXchange’ if it were me? I would not. Why would I?”
Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho began dating in 2012 and publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2014.
They were known as one of Korea’s long lasting celebrity couples and often received support from fans for mentioning each other in broadcasts and interviews.
