I.O.I appeared on the June 5 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons Sung Si Kyung’s Eardrum Boyfriend” and looked back on their journey together.
During the episode, Jeon Somi introduced I.O.I’s song “Suddenly,” which she helped write. She explained, “Now that I have become an adult and lived life, happy and missed moments suddenly come to me softly one day. It is a song that sincerely expresses our 9 year break.”
Kim Se Jeong also shared how meaningful it was for I.O.I to appear on music shows from all three major broadcasters. She said, “Each broadcasting station has a different color and feeling. I was proud that we could show a different and pretty I.O.I at each broadcasting station.”

Jung Chae Yeon then opened up about crying during a meeting with the writers. She said she enjoyed every moment on stage, but when she felt the ending getting closer, she became emotional because it was “so precious.”
Jeon Somi made the members laugh as she looked back on how young she was during I.O.I’s debut. She said, “When we all debuted together, I had only graduated from elementary school. I was 15 or 16 years old. I was so happy, but sadness came at the same time.”
Kim Se Jeong added that Somi has grown a lot since then. She shared that the youngest member, who used to get scolded and upset, now gives mature advice like, “Unnie, in life, you have to look at what is in front of you.”

Yoo Yeon Jung also revealed that the members made a promise while choosing their title track. Although they received many different songs, including more mature and sexy tracks, the members agreed not to go too far from the image fans remembered. She explained that because their last memory as I.O.I was “Very Very Very,” suddenly returning with a much more mature concept could feel too different.
The emotional moment continued when the members watched video letters they had filmed 10 years ago for their future selves.
Lim Na Young then shared a new message to I.O.I, saying, “Even if we cannot contact each other often, I hope our friendship does not change.”
She added, “The youth we spent together was so beautiful. I was happy to be with you, and I love you so much.”
