IU and Lee Yeon are gaining attention for their close friendship.
On May 8, MBC’s “The Manager” released a preview video showing Lee Yeon and IU during a photo shoot. The two previously worked together on the MBC drama “Perfect Crown”
During the shoot, Lee Yeon showed how comfortable she is with IU and said, “I’m tired. I want to go to Ji Eun senior’s house and sleep.”
IU responded warmly, saying, “The room where you sleep is really cozy.” She then shared that Lee Yeon even has her own items at IU’s home, adding, “At my house, there are pajamas just for you and body lotion just for you.”
Lee Yeon also shared another sweet story, saying, “On Lunar New Year, Ji Eun senior made rice cake soup for me, and we watched senior’s performance together on TV.”
She then revealed, “My house is full of gifts from Ji Eun senior,” drawing attention to IU’s thoughtful personality.
It was also shared that IU gave gifts such as speakers and passport cases to the cast and staff during the filming of “Perfect Crown”
IU talked about the passport case gift and said, “Since you received a passport case, you should also go on a trip. It is my dream to travel while carrying that.”
Lee Yeon added that IU does not usually travel often, but she encouraged her to go. She said, “IU is not usually the type who likes traveling that much, but I motivated her.”
Lee Yeon then joked, “After filming ends, you won’t be friends with me anymore, right? You’ll make other friends, right?” and said IU “fell for that,” leading the two to take a trip to Jeju Island together.
