Koo Kyo Hwan shared how he became closer to Go Youn Jung while filming JTBC’s weekend drama 'We Are All Trying Here'.
On April 28, Koo Kyo Hwan appeared on TEO’s YouTube show Salon Drip and talked about how he tries to get close to his co-stars on set.
He said, “I keep trying to start one more conversation,” explaining that he slowly approached Go Youn Jung so she would not feel uncomfortable.
He joked, “I started with one joke a day, then two jokes the next day. Recently, I think I’m doing around 142 jokes.”
Koo Kyo Hwan also revealed that he and Go Youn Jung looked at their fortune readings together as co-workers. He said, “Our fortune matched,” and added, “It was amazingly accurate.”
He explained that it showed how they both approached the project and what they felt about each other while working together.
The actor then praised Go Youn Jung’s personality, saying she has a strong “mature charm” and called her a “hybrid.” He added that she feels easygoing and pure, while also having both lively energy and wise energy.
Koo Kyo Hwan also spoke highly of her acting. He said Go Youn Jung responds naturally to changes in rhythm during scenes, almost “like a rhythm game,” and called her skilled.
He also shared that after filming one scene, he praised her by saying, “Go Youn Jung is an actor who acts with her eyes.”
He added, “She speaks sentences with her eyes,” explaining that even without many words, he felt like he had heard her full dialogue.
