JTBC’s new drama ‘We Are All Trying Here’ is gaining strong attention after quickly rising to the top of rankings shortly after its release.

After premiering on April 18, the drama reached No. 1 on Netflix’s “Top 10 Series in Korea” on April 20 and 21. It also ranked No. 2 in overall TV-OTT buzz rankings for the third week of April, showing strong popularity early in its run.

The cast is also gaining attention, with Koo Kyo Hwan ranking No. 3 and Go Youn Jung ranking No. 6 in actor buzz rankings, proving their strong impact on viewers.

The drama’s success is being credited to the direction and writing. Director Cha Young Hoon shared, “I didn’t want to miss even a single line from writer Park Hae Young’s script,” showing his focus on delivering the story in detail.

Viewers have also responded strongly to the dialogue, with lines like “Why does my life have to please you?” and “If I say nothing, it feels like I don’t even exist” gaining attention for their emotional impact.

The story focuses on realistic struggles, with the director explaining that he wanted to give comfort by showing that “today’s frustration is not something that only you experience.”

With strong rankings, rising buzz, and emotional storytelling, the drama is quickly establishing itself as one of the most talked-about series right now.
