Wanna One has officially reunited with fans after seven years, drawing strong attention as the group came together once again for a special event.
On April 6, nine members of Wanna One appeared at an opening ceremony in Seoul for the new program ‘Wanna One Go: Back to Base’.
Despite rainy weather, many fans stayed overnight to see the group, showing continued support after years apart.
The members greeted fans warmly and expressed their hopes for the future. Hwang Minhyun shared, “Starting today, I hope we can spend more time together”, highlighting their desire to reconnect with fans.
Although members Kang Daniel and Lai Kuan Lin were unable to attend due to individual schedules, the group still showed unity by including them symbolically during the event.
Wanna One originally debuted in 2017 through ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ and quickly became a major success, achieving million seller status and winning both rookie and grand awards.
Their influence was so strong that they were often mentioned alongside top groups of their generation.
After disbandment, the members continued individual careers in music, acting, and production. Now, their reunion project is expected to bring both new content and emotional moments for long time fans.
The upcoming program ‘Wanna One Go: Back to Base’ is set to be released on April 28, raising anticipation as the group reconnects with their fandom after many years.
