‘Yumi’s Cells Season 3’ is already gaining attention as Kim Go Eun and Kim Jae Won show a unique “love-hate” chemistry that is expected to bring back viewers’ excitement for romance.
The new season of the popular Tving original series follows Yumi, now a successful star writer, whose calm and ordinary life changes after an unexpected person enters her world. The story once again focuses on emotions, growth, and love in a relatable way.
Newly released still cuts highlight the relationship between Yumi and Soon Rok, a PD known for his straightforward and sometimes harsh comments despite his gentle appearance.
The images capture heart-fluttering moments, including the two sharing an umbrella in the rain, with Soon Rok getting wet while leaning it toward Yumi, as well as their quiet eye contact on a sunlit railway.
Their dynamic begins with tension but gradually develops into something deeper, raising anticipation for how their relationship will evolve.
Yumi, who became emotionally steady after achieving success, starts to feel her heart race again after meeting Soon Rok. Meanwhile, Soon Rok, who usually prefers staying at home and living quietly, begins to change after meeting Yumi.
Kim Go Eun shared, “I hope viewers will enjoy watching how Yumi and Soon Rok, who initially dislike each other, slowly grow closer through different moments.”
She also expressed gratitude, saying, “Because viewers laughed and cried with Yumi on her journey from a struggling writer to a successful romance novelist, I think she was able to become a good writer. ‘Yumi’s Cells Season 3’ will premiere on April 13, releasing two episodes every Monday at 6 PM on Tving, and will also air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
