BTS has once again proven their overwhelming global popularity by setting a new all time record at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the UK.
On the 6th, global concert promoter Live Nation UK officially announced, “BTS ARMY created the highest single show capacity ever at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,” confirming the historic achievement.
BTS is scheduled to hold concerts at the London venue on July 6 and 7, meeting around 120,000 fans over two days. The shows will feature a 360 degree stage, allowing even more fans to attend and enjoy a fully immersive concert experience.
The group is also preparing for a massive world tour, starting on April 9 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.
The tour will span 34 cities and 82 shows worldwide. Notably, the three Goyang concerts, along with all 41 North American and European shows, sold out quickly as soon as ticket sales opened, highlighting BTS’s unmatched ticket power.
At the same time, BTS is gearing up for their next comeback. The group will release their 5th full album “ARIRANG” on March 20 at 1 PM, followed by “BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG” on March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
The live event will be broadcast worldwide to over 190 countries and regions via Netflix.
Even before its official release, “ARIRANG” is already making history. As of March 4, the album ranked No. 1 on Spotify’s Countdown Charts Global for three consecutive weeks, a chart that measures pre save numbers for upcoming releases.
BTS’s past hits also continue to show long lasting popularity. The music video for “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)” surpassed 1.9 billion views on YouTube, becoming their second video to reach the milestone after “Dynamite,” which has already crossed 2 billion views.
In addition, “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” from Proof and “Love Maze” from Love Yourself Tear both achieved major streaming milestones and received Platinum and Gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan, further confirming BTS’s global impact.
From record breaking concerts to chart topping releases, BTS continues to set new standards on the global stage.
