BTS is once again showing overwhelming global popularity as their fifth full album “Arirang” has surpassed 3 million pre saves on Spotify.

According to their agency Big Hit Music, the album crossed the 3 million mark on February 4, setting an impressive pace even before its official release.

“Arirang” reached 1 million pre saves in just two days, followed by 2 million by day four, highlighting strong anticipation from fans worldwide.

The album’s rapid rise has drawn attention to whether it can challenge the current record for the most Spotify pre saves, which stands at 6 million and is held by Taylor Swift’s 12th album The Life of a Showgirl.

Adding to its momentum, “Arirang” ranked No. 1 for two consecutive weeks on the Countdown Chart Global, a chart that tracks pre save numbers for upcoming releases, confirming its strong performance on a global scale.

Fan interest has also surged across platforms. On HYBE’s fan community Weverse, paid membership subscriptions reportedly tripled following announcements related to BTS’s upcoming album and world tour.

With strong rankings and record breaking pre save numbers, BTS’s “Arirang” is already shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated releases ahead of its official launch next month.
