tvN has been proving its strength as a content powerhouse this year, with dramas like Shin's Project, Typhoon Family, and Bon Appétit, Your Majesty
gaining massive popularity. In particular, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty hit a peak rating of 17.1%, ending the year strong even during a slow ratings season. With 2026 just around the corner, viewers are already looking forward to what tvN will bring next.

One of the most anticipated dramas is Undercover Miss Hong, set to premiere on January 17, 2026. The retro office comedy takes place in the late 1990s and follows 30-year-old elite securities inspector Hong Geum Bo (Park Shin Hye) as she goes undercover as a 20-year-old junior employee at a suspicious securities firm.

The show promises comedy and chaos as Geum Bo navigates office life. Park Shin Hye, often called the “queen of hits,” will lead the drama, joined by Go Kyung Pyo, Ha Yoon Kyung, and Jo Han Gyeol. Director Park Sun Ho, known for SBS hits like Greasy Melo, Business Proposal, and Suspicious Partner, will bring his signature style to the series.

Another drama drawing attention is My Guilty Human, starring Im Si Wan and Seol In Ah. Based on the popular KakaoPage web novel and webtoon Why Don’t You Know She’s a Woman, the story follows chaebol heir Yoon Yi Jun (Im Si Wan), accused of murder, and special forces officer Kang Jae Hee (Seol In Ah), who goes undercover as his secretary. The series mixes romance and suspense, and marks actress Hong Eun Hee’s return to the small screen after three years.

I Will Give You the Universe, starring Noh Jung Eui and Bae In Hyuk, will also air next year. The story focuses on in-laws Woo Hyun Jin (Noh Jung Eui) and Seon Tae Hyung (Bae In Hyuk), who dislike each other but are forced to raise a 20-month-old nephew after the sudden deaths of their siblings.

The series promises a comedic and romantic cohabitation story filled with chaos and heartfelt moments.

However, tvN may face a challenge with Second Signal. Actor Jo Jin Woong recently revealed a past juvenile offense and announced his retirement, casting doubt on the release of the drama. Second Signal, the sequel to the highly popular 2016 drama Signal, was expected to be a major project for tvN’s 20th anniversary, with a reported budget in the hundreds of millions of won. Fans are closely watching to see if it will still make it to the screen.

With this strong lineup, tvN is already raising expectations for 2026, leaving fans excited to see whether the network can surpass the 17.1% ratings record once again.
