SBS’s hit Friday–Saturday drama Taxi Driver 3 is proving its power once again, soaring in the ratings as Lee Je Hoon takes on a chilling 15-year-old case that instantly grabbed viewers’ attention.
The December 5 broadcast of episode 5 showed another huge jump for the series, recording a peak of 10.8 percent, 9.4 percent in the Seoul area, and 8.9 percent nationwide, making it No. 1 in its time slot and No. 1 among all weekly miniseries.
The drama also performed strongly with younger viewers, hitting a 2049 demographic peak of 3.1 percent and an average of 2.8 percent, proving its ongoing popularity.
The episode drew major buzz as it centered on the drama’s long-running unsolved case connected to CEO Jang.
With Lee Je Hoon’s character stepping in to chase crucial new evidence, the tension and mystery helped push the show even higher in the rankings.
