BTS V takes over Tokyo winter with massive ice rink ads as fans rush to see his stunning campaign photos

BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) is once again proving his star power in Japan, this time by taking over Tokyo’s biggest outdoor ice rink for the next three months.

Japanese beauty brand Yunth, where V is active as a global ambassador, announced a special collaboration with the famous Tokyo Midtown Ice Rink.

The brand revealed huge campaign photos of V displayed all around the rink, saying, “V’s super-sized ad is here! Spend a wonderful winter with Yunth.”

As soon as the collaboration opened, the area filled with excited fans who came just to see V’s visuals lighting up the winter night. Even local skaters couldn’t stop staring at the giant photos, and many were seen taking pictures and showing interest in the featured products.

The project has become a major attraction, with fans crowding the rink to photograph the displays of V that now shine across Tokyo Midtown’s winter scenery.

Yunth didn’t stop there. The brand also expanded the campaign across Tokyo and Osaka, placing large ads on bus stops, massive LED screens at Tokyo Dome City, and outdoor billboards in Dotonbori, one of Osaka’s busiest landmarks.

V’s impact is already showing clear results. Yunth announced that sales have jumped sharply since V became their model, and some products even sold out. The company shared a notice saying, “Due to stronger-than-expected demand, our products sold out in stores. We apologize and are restocking step by step.”

The effect was strong enough to move the market too. Ai Robotics, Yunth’s parent company, saw its stock price shoot up by 7.53%, reaching its highest record after the news of V’s endorsement.

The product V represents also ranked No.1 on Japan’s largest online shopping mall Rakuten in the beauty essence category, both in real-time and daily charts. It also topped all beauty categories on Amazon Japan, proving V’s strong global influence.

To top it off, the item recently won 1st place in the “Rakuten 2025 Best Cosmetic Hall of Fame” under the beauty essence category.

Meanwhile, Yunth’s pop-up store at Loft in Shibuya is drawing nonstop visitors, once again showing how V’s name alone can become a major attraction.

V is truly turning Tokyo’s winter into his own stage, and fans can’t get enough.
