WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon shared emotional memories from his elementary school days, revealing that he was bullied because of his small size and quiet personality.
On November 14, the Zip Daesung YouTube channel released a video where Kang Seung Yoon took part in a hypnosis session with guest Daesung.
During the session, the hypnosis expert guided Kang Seung Yoon through age regression and asked about his school memories.
Reflecting on his middle and high school years, Kang Seung Yoon said, “I think I was just cheerful and really liked my friends.”
When asked if he had many friends, he replied, “I think I liked having friends.”
Recalling his younger elementary school self, Kang Seung Yoon opened up further, saying, “There are many things about being bullied that still remain.”
He added, “I was small, weak, and introverted, not good at expressing myself. I didn’t want to be quiet, but I felt like if I acted out, I would get bullied even more.”
