‘Typhoon Family’ tells the story of Kang Taepung (Lee Junho), a rookie manager who suddenly becomes the head of a struggling trading company during the 1997 IMF crisis.
With no employees, money, or assets, Kang Taepung works hard to survive and grow, showing determination and resilience in tough times.
The drama has been a hit with viewers, with its 4th episode reaching an average nationwide rating of 9% and a peak of 9.8%, ranking 1st in its time slot across cable and general channels.
The key 20–49 age group also recorded strong ratings, averaging 2.4% and peaking at 2.7%, topping all channels during the same time.
