Son Ye Jin opened up about her sweet love story with her husband Hyun Bin, making fans smile with her honest words.
On September 21, actress Son Ye Jin appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel Fairy Jae Hyung.
During the talk, she confessed, “‘Crash Landing on You’ might be the most meaningful project of my life. Because it led me to meet my husband.”
When host Jung Jae Hyung jokingly asked if the love started with the famous parachute scene, Son Ye Jin laughed and replied, “That was just in the drama. For actors, strangely enough, work and personal life are separate.”
She then looked back on their first project together, saying, “While filming ‘The Negotiation,’ we realized we were the same age, debuted around the same time, and even our parents are the same age. We could relate to so many things as actors. Even without saying it, we just understood each other. And I felt so comfortable.”
Son Ye Jin also revealed how Hyun Bin’s real personality won her over: “During stage greetings, we talked a lot. I thought, this person is really kind at heart. That’s not easy. On set, he never pretended or put on a mask, he just showed his real self, and I liked that. As time went on, my feelings for him grew stronger.”
She then shared a lighthearted moment about their current married life: “Even yesterday, it was funny. We finally had a meal together after a long time. I asked him, ‘We really did love each other, right?’ Once you have a child, everything revolves around the baby."
She added, "In the early days of dating and marriage, I cooked a lot. I heard many couples fight about this, but thankfully my husband, even if he might feel a little upset inside, never shows it and just accepts it.”
Meanwhile, Son Ye Jin tied the knot with Hyun Bin in early 2022, and later that year in November, the couple welcomed their son.
