Actor Ahn Jae Hyun is ready to show a whole new side of himself as he transforms into the “next generation eating show star.”
ENA, NXT, and Comedy TV are teaming up to launch a new variety program Where Will It Bounce? (shortened as Eotteulla), a food adventure with no script or fixed plan. Instead, the cast goes on a real journey, visiting hidden gems recommended by the restaurant owners themselves. Joining the lineup are Kim Dae Ho, Ahn Jae Hyun, Tzuyang, and Jonathan, promising an unpredictable and delicious tour.
Ahn Jae Hyun, in particular, is attracting attention after admitting that his lifestyle — and even his body — has changed a lot. He explained,
“I used to eat very little, but suddenly my appetite exploded. Because of changes in filming and my lifestyle, I started eating a lot more. I even gained weight recently, but people say I look better, so now I’m happily enjoying food and working out.”

He added that he wanted to show something new through this program:
“In past variety shows, I mostly showed cooking or simple eating. This time, I want to introduce great restaurants myself. My mindset is, ‘If it’s a good place, I’ll go anywhere.’ Instead of just eating a lot, I want to show how well I can enjoy food.”
Ahn Jae Hyun also praised his co-stars:
“Kim Dae Ho hyung is dependable and witty, Jonathan has amazing positive energy, and Tzuyang was just as incredible as I expected. Sitting at the same table with her was such a big experience, but I’ll keep my pride and show that I can eat well too.”
Because the filming has no fixed plan, the cast often faces unexpected situations. Ahn Jae Hyun laughed as he shared,
“Sometimes the restaurants are too small, so only the cast can go in. Even the staff can’t predict what will happen, but that’s the charm of Eotteulla. It feels real and fun.”
He also revealed his big goal for the show:
“Through this, I want to earn the title ‘the standard of eating shows’ or even ‘the eating show star you can trust.’ I hope viewers will see me as a fun and comforting meal companion.”
Where Will It Bounce? premieres on September 21 at 7:50 p.m. KST.
