Choi Yena (YENA) has been chosen to play a special role at one of the art world’s biggest events.
On September 5, her agency announced, “Choi Yena has been selected as the chief recommender of Banksy’s first large-scale solo exhibition in mainland China, Banksy: Exists Everywhere. Through this event, she will help share Banksy’s artistic value and social message.”
The exhibition has been running since August 9 at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center (SWCAC) in Shenzhen, China. Banksy, the world-famous yet anonymous street artist, is known for highlighting social issues through his powerful graffiti works that have resonated with millions globally.
The exhibition includes his signature piece Girl with Balloon, along with 34 original PCO-certified prints, unique objects, and even works created on currency. Visitors can also explore large mural installations, a recreation of Banksy’s studio, and a graffiti-covered bathroom — all designed to give a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.
Sharing her thoughts, Choi Yena said, “Banksy’s works go beyond simple art, carrying sharp messages about society and reality. I hope many people will have a deep experience through this exhibition.”
Meanwhile, Choi Yena continues to show her wide-reaching influence. She recently released her 4th mini album Blooming Wings, highlighting her unique “Yenacore” charms. She has also been active in endorsements, becoming a model for both an alcoholic beverage brand and a street casual fashion label, proving her impact across music, fashion, and advertising as a true Gen Z icon.
