Reports claim that BTS member Jimin and actress Song Da Eun are no longer together, even though dating rumors between the two have been ongoing for four years.
On August 31, Money Today reported that Jimin and Song Da Eun had a short relationship around the time of his military enlistment but broke up long ago. However, BigHit Music, Jimin’s agency, has not made any statement on the matter.
The dating rumors first began in 2022, when Song Da Eun posted on social media and some fans speculated her posts hinted at Jimin. Neither side confirmed nor denied the rumors, which only fueled more attention.
More recently, Song Da Eun uploaded a TikTok video of herself greeting someone in front of an elevator, sparking new speculation and even rumors of cohabitation.
She later deleted the video, with some netizens suggesting it may have been due to malicious comments. Still, both Jimin and Song Da Eun gave no clarification.
Song Da Eun has previously expressed how much stress the rumors and negative comments caused her. In 2023, she wrote through her account, “If it’s about a third person, please ask someone else, not me. My mind is clear. Don’t try to scare me about fandoms or lawsuits. Like before, I have collected all the evidence.”
More recently, during a late-night live broadcast, she teared up while saying, “It’s all because of you.”
Meanwhile, Jimin and BigHit Music have stayed completely silent, never releasing an official response. Some point out that this silence may be adding to the negative attention directed at Song Da Eun.
Song Da Eun first gained recognition on Channel A’s dating show Heart Signal 2 in 2018 before moving into acting, appearing in dramas such as Eun Joo’s Room and Once Again.
