GOT7’s Jackson has been forced to cancel a scheduled fansign event after being rushed to the hospital with acute food poisoning.
According to Taiwanese media outlet ETtoday on August 16, Jackson was taken to the emergency room late at night on August 15 after suddenly falling ill. He received treatment and is now resting to recover.
Because of this, Jackson’s fansign event scheduled for August 16 has been canceled. His label, Team Wang Records, released an official statement through social media, saying, “We are very sorry to inform you that today’s Music Korea fansign event has been unavoidably canceled. "
They added, "Jackson was taken to the emergency room at midnight yesterday due to sudden food poisoning symptoms, and he now needs rest to recover.”
The agency added, “We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to fans who were waiting for this event. We will work with Music Korea to reschedule the fansign and provide updates.”
Meanwhile, Jackson is preparing for his MAGIC MAN 2 WORLD TOUR 2025-2026, which will officially begin in October.
