According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, this monthly ranking is based on big data analysis of consumer behavior, media coverage, communication, and community buzz. For July, the institute analyzed over 46.57 million pieces of data from June 30 to July 30, marking a 13.72% drop compared to June.
The brand reputation index helps show which rising stars are gaining attention online and how the public interacts with their content. It covers various categories including drama actors, idols, variety stars, sports figures, and more.
Here are the Top 5 rising stars of July 2025:
1. Choo Young Woo
Choo Young Woo took the No. 1 spot with a total brand reputation index of 2,902,305. Although his score dropped by 44.13% compared to June, he still maintained his lead thanks to his strong acting performances across multiple dramas.
2. Byeon Woo Seok
Ranking 2nd, Byeon Woo Seok earned a brand index of 2,424,328, down 32.48% from the previous month. His positive image was boosted by his recent charity work, which earned praise from fans and media alike.
3. Kim Yong Bin
Kim Yong Bin came in 3rd with 2,354,924 points, showing steady growth powered by a loyal fanbase and consistent media exposure.
4. Park Ji Hyun
In 4th place, Park Ji Hyun impressed with new appearances on variety shows, scoring 2,312,190 in the rankings.
5. Kiki (Ji Yu, Lee Sol, Soo Yi, Ha Eum, Ki Ya)
The girl group Kiki ranked 5th with 1,852,334, gearing up for their highly anticipated comeback, which has fans buzzing.

“Choo Young Woo showed great range in dramas, which helped him top the list. Byeon Woo Seok gained love through donation efforts, and Kim Yong Bin’s solid growth was thanks to his passionate fans.”
He also added that overall, brand engagement and communication were down compared to June, but the interest in rising stars remains strong.
