Stray Kids are unstoppable — and they’ve just made history once again on the U.S. music charts!
According to the 2025 Midyear Music Report released by U.S. entertainment data company Luminate on July 16 (local time), Stray Kids’ latest album SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’ has taken the No. 2 spot on the U.S. Top CD Albums chart, selling an impressive 149,000 physical copies in the first half of the year.
This makes them the highest-ranking K-pop and Asian artist ever on the chart — setting yet another record in their career.
But that’s not all. Stray Kids are now the first artist in history to make it into the U.S. Top CD Albums list for three years in a row, each time with a different album: MAXIDENT in 2023, ROCK-STAR in 2024, and HOP in 2025. Talk about consistency and global impact!
When combining physical and digital album sales, HOP also ranked at No. 8 on the U.S. Top 10 Albums chart — once again, the highest ranking ever for any Asian artist.
This comes after Stray Kids already broke records on the Billboard 200 chart last year, when HOP debuted at No. 1, marking their sixth consecutive No. 1 debut — something no other artist in Billboard's 69-year history had done before.
And while they’re breaking records on charts, they’re also dominating stages around the world.
Stray Kids are currently on their massive Stray Kids World Tour , and they’re making more history with every stop. On July 18 and 19, they became the first K-pop act to perform at London’s iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Then, they lit up Madrid on July 22, and are heading to Paris on July 26 and 27, followed by Rome on July 30.
With chart records, massive global tours, and loyal fans backing them every step of the way, Stray Kids continue to show the world that they’re not just part of K-pop history — they’re making music history, period.
