SM Entertainment is not staying quiet anymore when it comes to protecting their rising boy group RIIZE.
On July 15, SM Entertainment released an official statement revealing that they are now taking strong legal action against people involved in illegal activities targeting RIIZE members—Shotaro, Eun Seok, Sung Chan, Won Bin, So Hee, and Anton.
The company explained, “We have filed complaints against people who spread false rumors about RIIZE on online platforms. Some pretended to be the members’ acquaintances and repeatedly shared fake information. Last year, some were even sent to prosecution and fined for their actions.”
SM also revealed a shocking detail—some people recently used the members’ personal information to change or cancel their flight seats, which disrupted RIIZE’s schedule.
The company said these actions are serious crimes and that legal steps are already being taken against the offenders.
The statement added, “There have also been harmful posts and comments spreading lies about RIIZE’s staff, causing them major distress. We’re currently collecting evidence and pushing forward with lawsuits.”
SM Entertainment ended the statement by asking fans and the public to stop leaking personal information and posting insulting or malicious content.
Meanwhile, RIIZE just kicked off their first world tour, ‘2025 RIIZE Concert Tour [RIIZING DAY]’, with a successful 3-day show in Seoul from July 4 to 6 at KSPO DOME.
They will be touring 14 cities next, including Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Fukuoka, Taipei, Singapore, and Macau.
