It’s been revealed that WINNER member Song Min Ho was recently involved in a car accident, adding another concern to the idol’s already difficult year.

According to a report by Maeil Business Star Today on July 4, Song Min Ho was riding in a taxi on June 14 when a traffic accident occurred near Dapsimni Station in Yongdap-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

While the accident was reportedly not serious, Song Min Ho still went to the hospital as a precaution, worried about potential aftereffects from the crash.

Song Min Ho, who debuted in 2014 as part of WINNER, rose to fame with chart-topping hits like “Empty,” “Really Really,” and “Everyday.” He also gained major attention as the runner-up on Mnet’s Show Me The Money 10 and became a variety show favorite through his appearances on “New Journey to the West.”

The accident comes not long after Song Min Ho wrapped up his alternative military service. He served as a social service worker starting in March 2023 and was officially discharged on December 23 of the same year.

However, before his discharge, Song Min Ho became the center of controversy after being accused of poor attendance during his service. The Military Manpower Administration requested an investigation, and the police later booked him.

On May 22, he was sent to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office without detention. Reports say that during questioning, Song Min Ho mostly admitted to leaving his workplace during duty hours.

Meanwhile, WINNER is gearing up for a two-day concert on July 26 and 27 at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. The event will feature only three membersKang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, and Lee Seung Hoon — as Song Min Ho will not be participating.

As concerns rise over both his health and legal matters, fans are hoping for clarity and recovery for the rapper and artist in the coming days.
