aespa’s Winter surprised fans with her down-to-earth habits and love for bread in a new YouTube video — and revealed that even without a mask, she usually goes unnoticed in public!

On July 4, Winter appeared as a guest on the YouTube show Hal Myung Soo, hosted by comedian Park Myung Soo. In the episode’s “Delivery Bread” segment, the two bonded over their love for sweet breads and pastries.

Winter kicked off the segment saying,

“I really love bread, especially sweet ones,”
and shared that she enjoys financiers, madeleines, and canelés. Park Myung Soo agreed, saying,
“I once ate 9 financiers in one go,”
to which Winter responded,
“I even took a baking class to learn how to make madeleines,”
making everyone laugh with their shared passion. The two happily dubbed themselves “bread friends.”

While chatting, Park Myung Soo asked if Winter ever sneaks out to eat in nearby places around Seongsu-dong, where SM Entertainment is located, maybe in disguise. But Winter gave a surprising answer:

“I don’t even really wear a mask. People don’t recognize me,”
she said casually.
“I just like walking around, so I go out without any destination. Sometimes I just sit alone somewhere.”

Fans were surprised by her calm attitude, showing how grounded the idol remains despite her fame.

When asked about her favorite hidden restaurant, Winter playfully kept the secret to herself:

“I don’t think I can tell you because I want to keep it to myself,”
she said with a smile.

As for her favorite bread? Winter picked melon bread from a subway station in Japan, catching viewers' attention with her simple but unique choice.

Even though she’s part of a top K-pop girl group, Winter seems to live a refreshingly normal life — walking around unnoticed, enjoying pastries, and finding joy in quiet solo moments. Fans loved seeing this relaxed and relatable side of her.
