On June 27, The Black Label dropped a haunting teaser for So Mi’s upcoming digital single “EXTRA,” set to release on July 7 at 6 PM KST. The 6-second moving concept photo was enough to send fans into a frenzy, showing a side of So Mi that no one expected.
In the teaser, So Mi appears completely wrecked—her once-bright image replaced by smudged eye makeup, messy clothes, and a hollow, broken stare. As she stands still, flames rise from her chest, and a black, heart-shaped ash falls away, symbolizing something deeply emotional. The intense scene feels like a metaphor for a burned-out heart, and it’s got fans both shocked and intrigued.
This dark, emotional concept marks a dramatic transformation for So Mi, who is best known for her bright and playful "high-teen" and "summer queen" vibes. With “EXTRA,” she’s clearly heading into bold new territory—and fans can’t wait to see what story she’s about to tell.
Following the release of “EXTRA,” Jeon So Mi will kick off her 2025 official fan meeting tour ‘JEON SOMI [CHAOS]’, starting in Seoul on July 19, then heading to Tokyo and Osaka to meet her global fans.
