Longtime couple Lee Jang Woo and Jo Hye Won are finally getting married!
On June 21, Korean media outlet OSEN reported that actor Lee Jang Woo and actress Jo Hye Won will tie the knot on November 23 in Seoul. The couple, who have been dating for about 7 years, reportedly made the decision after building deep love and trust throughout their long relationship.
The news comes just a day after fans noticed Lee Jang Woo tearing up in the preview of I Live Alone. Some thought he might be leaving the popular MBC variety show. But it’s been confirmed that he’s not leaving permanently—only his part in the “Palm Oil Club” will take a break for now, and he’s expected to stay on the show until his wedding.

Lee Jang Woo and Jo Hye Won’s relationship became public in June 2023, although they met way earlier while filming the KBS2 weekend drama My Only One, which ended in 2019. Despite an 8-year age gap, they developed their bond naturally and have kept a steady and low-key relationship over the years.
Fans will remember when Lee Jang Woo won the Top Excellence Award at the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards and unexpectedly gave a shout-out to his girlfriend. While thanking his parents, he joked, “They keep pressuring me to get married, but now that I got this award, maybe I’ll stay single a bit longer.” He then turned to Jo Hye Won and added, “Maybe we’ll have to delay the wedding a little. Is it okay if I stay on I Live Alone just a bit longer?” The moment caused both laughter and buzz among fans.
Later on I Live Alone, Lee Jang Woo revealed how Jo Hye Won reacted to his speech. “She was really touched,” he said. “We hadn’t talked about marriage seriously yet, but she was thankful I mentioned it first.” His heartfelt words showed how sincere their relationship is.

Throughout the years, the two were spotted traveling abroad and supporting each other quietly. Jo Hye Won was also seen visiting Lee Jang Woo’s restaurant, showing their sweet connection behind the scenes.
Now, fans are celebrating the couple’s next step together as they prepare to walk down the aisle in November.
Meanwhile, Lee Jang Woo, born in 1986, debuted in the 2006 drama 90 Days, Time to Love and gained fame through dramas like Three Brothers, My Only One, and The Heavenly Idol. He’s currently a regular on I Live Alone and will soon appear on MBN’s new show Do You Know Homemade Food? in July. He’s also been successful as a restaurant owner.
Jo Hye Won, born in 1994, made her debut in the 2016 film Spirits' Homecoming and has starred in dramas like Awaken, Military Prosecutor Doberman, and Queenmaker.
