THE BOYZ’s Ju Hak Nyeon recently made headlines after personally denying prostitution rumors — but now, people are turning their attention to singer and producer MC Mong, who has gone completely silent.
Everything started when Ju Hak Nyeon officially left THE BOYZ, shocking fans. On June 16, his agency One Hundred announced that he would be halting activities for “personal reasons.” Just days earlier, on June 13, they also revealed that MC Mong (real name Shin Dong Hyun), co-founder of the company, had stepped down from his duties — again, with no clear explanation.
Then, things took a dramatic turn.
On June 18, Japanese outlet Weekly Bunshun reported that Ju Hak Nyeon was spotted at a private bar in Tokyo on May 30 with former Japanese AV actress Asuka Kirara. According to the report, the two were seen being affectionate and hugging each other, raising eyebrows and fueling online speculation.
Soon after, One Hundred dropped another bombshell — Ju Hak Nyeon was not just taking a break, he was officially leaving THE BOYZ and terminating his exclusive contract.
In a statement, the agency said:
“As soon as we were made aware of Ju Hak Nyeon’s personal issue, we immediately paused his activities and investigated. After reviewing the seriousness of the situation, and following discussions with the other members of THE BOYZ, we concluded that it would be difficult to continue working with him.”
What started as a private meeting soon snowballed into online rumors about prostitution.
In response, Ju Hak Nyeon addressed the issue head-on by posting a handwritten letter on his Instagram during the early hours of June 19. He wrote:
“On May 30, 2020, I was drinking with a friend. It’s true I was there, but I never did anything illegal like what the rumors say — no prostitution or anything like that.”
While his firm denial calmed some fans, it also raised bigger questions — especially about MC Mong.
Why? Because it wasn’t just Ju Hak Nyeon caught in controversy. A producer under One Hundred was also reportedly involved in prostitution-related rumors and was quietly removed from their position.
Now that MC Mong has stepped away from his leadership role at One Hundred, without offering any explanation, people are starting to wonder if he’s hiding something too.
Fans became even more suspicious when MC Mong suddenly wiped all his social media posts. His once-active Instagram is now completely empty, and comments are flooding in from worried fans:
- “Why are you deleting everything?”
- “You’re not involved in this, right?”
- “Please tell us the truth.”
- “We believed in you.”
As of now, MC Mong hasn’t said a word.
With more and more questions piling up, fans and the public alike are waiting to see if MC Mong will finally break his silence — or keep avoiding the spotlight.
