Lee Ji Hye explained on social media that Taeri went into the bathroom and started talking to an AI chatbot after their morning argument. She wrote, “Taeri’s concern. I scolded her this morning, and she went into the bathroom to talk to AI.”
Taeri reportedly told the chatbot that her mother did not always understand her feelings and described conflicts with her younger sister, including being kicked and pinched. The AI responded by listening to her concerns and offering advice.
Lee Ji Hye admitted that she found the situation both “cute” and “sad,” but also said, “Somehow, it feels scary.” Her reaction appeared to come from seeing the AI respond in a way that felt similar to a human conversation.
