T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun), star of Squid Game Season 2, is back in the spotlight — this time with a surprise mukbang collab with American rapper Lil Yachty in Los Angeles!
On June 12, Netflix Korea dropped a fun video featuring T.O.P and Lil Yachty sitting down together for a mukbang, where they chatted about Korean content while digging into dak galbi (spicy stir-fried chicken). The clip was captioned,
“T.O.P, Lil Yachty, mukbang, and K-content?? I need a seat at that table.”
T.O.P introduced himself by saying, “I’m T.O.P, Choi Seung Hyun,” and got things started with the spicy dish. As they talked about Squid Game Season 2, T.O.P brought up his character Thanos, jokingly calling him a “loser rapper.”

In a funny moment, he also watched a scene from the classic drama IRIS, which he starred in with Lee Byung Hun. After seeing his younger self on screen, he laughed and said, “I’m embarrassed.”
He explained, “I was really young when I filmed that — about 21 or 22. It was around 17 years ago.”
Lil Yachty quickly responded, “You look the same now as you did 17 years ago,” making T.O.P smile and say, “Thank you.”
T.O.P was in L.A. to attend Netflix’s global ‘TUDUM’ event, even though his character doesn’t return in Squid Game Season 3. Still, his presence drew attention thanks to his strong global fanbase. Since TUDUM is a fan-centered event, T.O.P was invited as one of the standout cast members from Season 2.
Now enjoying major popularity in the U.S., T.O.P has been filming promotional content for Squid Game Season 3 with American celebrities, building even more excitement among global fans.
T.O.P made his official acting comeback through Squid Game Season 2, after a long break following past controversies. In interviews, he shared his feelings about returning to the spotlight — and fans have been cheering him on.
Meanwhile, Squid Game Season 3 is set to premiere on June 27 on Netflix — and anticipation is sky-high!
