On the June 7 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s Mr. House Husband, ITZY members Lia and Yuna made a guest appearance and opened up about their pre-debut days.
During the show, Eun Ji Won asked, “How did you debut? Did your parents support your dream?”
Lia honestly replied, “They were completely against it. I think they wanted me to focus more on studying.”
The episode also revealed some adorable childhood photos of Lia, showing off her bright smile and elegant visuals from a young age.
Ji Sang Ryeol looked at her photos and said, “You have the vibe of a news anchor.” The other guests in the studio quickly agreed, praising her neat and refined features. Some added, “She really does,” amazed at how natural her beauty has always been.
Despite the early opposition from her parents, Lia proved her passion and talent by debuting as a member of ITZY, and fans can’t help but admire her journey from a model student to a global star.
