The stars and staff of Resident Playbook are being rewarded with a special getaway thanks to the drama's rising success!

On May 15, Newsen reported that the cast and crew of tvN’s popular weekend drama Resident Playbook are planning a reward vacation to Bali, Indonesia. The trip is scheduled to take place either at the end of this month or in early June.

A drama representative told Newsen, “It’s more of a team-building trip involving the director, some of the production staff, and the cast.”

This means viewers can expect to see familiar faces like Go Youn Jung (Oh Yi Young), Kang You Seok (Eom Jae Il), Shin Si Ah (Pyo Nam Kyung), Han Ye Ji (Kim Sa Bi), and Jung Joon Won (Koo Do Won) enjoying some well-earned relaxation.

Resident Playbook first premiered on April 12 and kicked off with a solid 3.7% nationwide rating, according to Nielsen Korea.

Since then, the ratings have kept climbing, reaching 7.5% by episode 10, which aired on May 11. In the Seoul area, the drama peaked at 9.2%, and it scored a 5.3% rating among tvN’s key 2049 audience, making it the top show in its time slot.

The drama hasn’t just done well in ratings — it’s also taken over online buzz. According to Good Data Corporation, Resident Playbook has been ranked No. 1 in TV-OTT buzz for four weeks straight.

Related content has racked up nearly 740 million views, and the drama’s OSTs are also climbing music charts, showing just how much love the show is getting from fans.

The final two episodes are almost here, with episode 11 airing on May 17 and the finale, episode 12, airing on May 18.

With the cast heading to Bali and the show wrapping up on a high note, Resident Playbook is ending with the success it truly deserves.
