Singer Bibi recently opened up about a frightening moment she experienced during a live performance — and fans are relieved it didn’t turn into a wardrobe disaster!
On the May 14 episode of MBC’s variety show Radio Star, Bibi appeared alongside No Sa Yeon, broadcaster Hyun Young, and YouTuber Charles Enter. During the episode, host Yoo Se Yoon brought up a shocking story from her past, saying,
“I heard you had a stage moment that really shocked you. What happened?”
Bibi responded,
“When I think of a scary or shocking stage, I always remember my first Waterbomb performance.”
She went on to explain what happened that day:
“My stylist asked me if I was going to take off the T-shirt on stage. I said, ‘I’m not sure, maybe.’ So just in case, they put triangle-shaped tape over my bikini top under the shirt.”
She continued,
“Since I had the tape on, I felt okay about removing the T-shirt. But then the strap on the back of my bikini came undone. And when that happens, the swimsuit rolls up. Thankfully, the tape held everything in place — but it was a really scary moment.”
A clip of the performance was shown during the show, and viewers could see the exact moment Bibi realized something was wrong.
Her shocked reaction made it clear how close she came to a major wardrobe malfunction — but thanks to that extra tape, she managed to avoid it.
Fellow guest No Sa Yeon lightened the mood by joking,
“I don’t have any outfits that would allow that kind of mistake,”
which had everyone laughing.
