Ahn Jae Hyun has shared a glimpse of his life after his divorce from Goo Hye Sun, revealing the emotional struggle he went through during that difficult time.
On May 2, during a preview for next week’s episode of MBC’s I Live Alone, Ahn Jae Hyun was seen spending time with his long-time friends, which sparked a lot of attention from fans.
In the clip, Ahn Jae Hyun visited the home of a close friend’s parents, where he reflected on the past. "I’ll spend the night at my friend’s house, where we’ve been together since our teens," he said, as he helped out with farm chores.
During the visit, Ahn Jae Hyun’s friends opened up about his behavior following his divorce, saying, "He was gone for a while and didn’t answer our calls. He didn’t want to see us happy. He didn’t want to see our families happy."
This dark period followed his split from actress Goo Hye Sun in 2020, and it was a time when Ahn Jae Hyun took a break from his television career.
As the conversation continued, his friends joked about his future. "What will you do when you’re 40?" they asked, to which Ahn Jae Hyun replied, "I’ll wait for your third child."
His friend jokingly responded, "I’ll wait for your first one," which caused Ahn Jae Hyun to smile wryly.
Ahn Jae Hyun married Goo Hye Sun in 2016, but they divorced in 2020 after four years of marriage.
