• JYP apologizes after Jakarta concert disaster leaves DAY6 and fans in the rain and confused

JYP Entertainment has finally spoken up about the controversy surrounding DAY6’s Jakarta concert, and fans are demanding answers.

On May 4, JYP released an official statement regarding the problems at DAY6’s 'FOREVER YOUNG' world tour stop in Jakarta on May 3.

According to the agency, the event was poorly managed by the local promoter, leading to delays and safety issues.

“Due to poor coordination with the local promoter and bad weather, the concert site was not handled well,” JYP shared through DAY6’s official channels. “There were safety concerns, and both the sound check and the concert start time were delayed.”

JYP apologized sincerely, saying, “We are very sorry to the fans who waited in the rain and to the artists who still did their best on stage out of love for their fans. We take full responsibility and will do better to protect our artists and give fans a better experience.”

The concert was originally planned for Jakarta International Stadium, but promoter MECIMA changed the venue last-minute, citing a soccer match. Ironically, that match ended up being canceled, causing even more confusion.

MECIMA also failed to properly handle ticket transfers and concert-day logistics. As of now, no formal apology from the promoter has been made.

Despite the chaos, the DAY6 members personally apologized to fans during the sound check. Sadly, some attendees still booed the group during the actual concert, and online hate against the members continues.

Fans are now calling for JYP to cut ties with MECIMA and protect DAY6 from further harm.

  • Gong Hyo Jin reveals the real reason she doesn't post couple photos with husband Kevin Oh

Actress Gong Hyo Jin finally gave fans an honest answer about why she never shares couple photos with her husband Kevin Oh, and the reason might surprise you!

On May 4, Gong Hyo Jin uploaded a video on her YouTube channel For Now, Gong Hyo Jin, where she held her first Q&A session. And yes—she spilled some real tea.

When asked if fashion sense is something you’re born with, she laughed and said, “You could say I was born with it.”

She explained how even as a kid, she was super picky about her school outfits. “My mom told me I spent so much time choosing what to wear. I think fashion is something you’re naturally drawn to.”

Talking about her strong color sense, she added, “Some color combos still look good even after 10 years. If you see them in old photos, they still feel trendy. I think fashion sense comes from having a natural feel for color.”

She also talked about her career choices and said she doesn’t regret missing out on any acting roles. “I’m not the type to have regrets. I always think there’s a reason things didn’t happen. I’ve done the projects I really wanted, and if someone else did a role I passed on, I just think, ‘It suited them better.’”

But the moment that really had fans leaning in was when someone asked, “Can we please see some cute couple photos with Kevin?”

Gong Hyo Jin smiled and revealed, “We actually have a lot of couple photos, but…” Then came the real reason. “Even before we got married, Kevin and I both agreed—we wanted to stay true to who we are. I wanted to stay just ‘me,’ and he wanted to stay an artist.”

She got real, saying, “When people see couple photos, they start focusing only on the couple image. But I’m an actress, and that kind of spotlight can make things more complicated. It’s not like I’m hiding anything, but… I do hold back a little.”

Fans praised her honesty and admired how she stays true to herself. One fan commented, “She’s protecting her career and her love life at the same time. Queen behavior!”

So for now, we’ll just have to imagine how adorable their couple photos are—but who knows, maybe she’ll drop one someday?
